A unique collection including a one of one Aston Martin Rapide shooting brake
As an automotive photographer, there are some shoots that remind you exactly why you love what you do. Working with Tom Hardman is always one of those moments. His classic and collector car showroom in Clitheroe is, quite honestly, a fantasy garage — except everything inside it is actually for sale.
Shooting his latest stock collection gave me the chance to photograph some truly spectacular machinery. And despite tight time restrictions, Tom’s brilliant on-site studio setup meant I could create a set of images I am genuinely proud of.
A Line-Up of Remarkable Cars
Here are the stars of the shoot — each a piece of rolling automotive art:

Why I Love Shooting for Tom Hardman
Tom is one of the few classic car dealers who understands the value of elevating stock photography — going far beyond the standard record shots.
He always wants:
- dedicated hero images
- cinematic details
- and my personal favourite… car-to-car motion photography
These shoots require precision, communication, and trust — and the results speak for themselves. Capturing real motion blur in-camera is a huge part of what makes these images feel alive and authentic.
Even under time pressure, Tom’s custom-built studio environment allowed me to work fast while still producing polished, high-end automotive imagery.
Proud of the Final Results
Every car on this shoot had its own personality, and bringing that out through lighting, angles, and motion was an absolute joy.
Seeing this collection come together — and knowing these images will help tell the story of such significant machines — is exactly why I love the art of automotive photography.
