As many of you may know; I’m a huge fan of mod culture and so this mod couple portrait shoot was right up my street!

My job as a photographer is so varied – and that’s why I love it. Last week I was harnessed into the back of a van shooting millions of pounds worth of super cars, and the next day I was in my studio; peacefully shooting sweets for a 14 year old girls’ start up business. One job often leads to another and I’ve been shooting a lot of scooters recently which led to this quirky portrait session.

Having scouted out the perfect venue for the mod couple portrait shoot, I arranged a time, set up my background and lights and waited for the sound of a 2 stroke engine to appear.

We had lot of fun during the shoot – something I always try to do with my clients. I brought along some Northern Soul Classics to dance too and I frantically chased them round a car park with my camera to get some action shots.
