Photographing Libraries
This Leeds Library Architectural Photography shoot was joy to do. As an architectural photographer, It was real a pleasure to be let loose for a few hours to photograph the amazing internal architecture of such an impressive building. The Leeds Library is a lovely building that took 6 years to be constructed from 1878.
Photographic Technique
The brief for this Leeds Library architectural photography shoot was to use the natural light and not flash. You can use similar techniques though – it’s called exposure blending. The images are shot on a tripod and you expose for different parts of the room, particularly the windows. Then in Photoshop you can blend several images together to give a nice pleasing light.
