Leeds architectural photography

It was a real joy to be let loose for a few hours to photograph the architecture of Leeds library.

It’s such a lovely building, taking 6 years to be constructed from 1878. The brief was to use the natural light and not flash. You can use similar techniques though, it’s called exposure blending. The images are shot on a tripod and you expose for different parts of the room, particularly the windows. Then in Photoshop you can blend several images together to give a nice pleasing light.
